Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Friday, August 12, 2016, Stanley C. Squibb of Carbonear, age 87 years. Predeceased by parents: John and Wilamena; brothers: Maxwell, John, Graham, Walter and Hayward; sisters: Rhoda and Hilda. Left to mourn, wife: Margaret; one daughter: Tina (Terry) Emberley, Carbonear; one son: John (Michelle), Conception Bay South; four grandchildren: Tara (Christopher), Rebecca, Trista and Joshua; one brother: Eldred, Carbonear; special friend: Danielle Short, Carbonear; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel’s Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Dr. Owen Edwards conducted the funeral service on Sunday, August 14 from St. James Anglican Church, Carbonear.
