Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Complex on Monday, August 15, 2016, Raymond George Bishop, aged 97 years. Raymond was a long-time businessman of Long Pond, Manuals. He leaves to mourn his loving wife Doris "Dot"; children: Joan (Bill), Don, Dave, Doug, Deb (Joe, deceased), Daphne (Paul), grandchildren: Chris (Linda), Mark (Megan), Amanda (Jonathan), Shaundell (Nick), Debbie (Mark), Laura, Jeanna (Jonathan), Erin (Travis), MaryBeth (Dion), Donny (Kerry-Lynn), Kyle (Sam), Adam (Hannah) and Madison; seven great-grandchildren; sister Ruby Ledrew and brother Bert (Doris), as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Thursday, August 18, 2016 from 2-9 pm. Funeral service will be held at Barrett's Chapel on Friday, August 19, 2016 at 11 am. A reception will follow the funeral service at Barrett's Reception Lounge. Interment will be held at All Saints Cemetery, Church Road at a later date. No flowers by request. Donations may be made in Raymond's memory to the Mazol Shriners' Orthopedic and Burned Children's Patient Transportation Fund or to a charity of one's choice.
