It is with great sadness that the family of the late Eugene Woodley Sheppard announces his passing on August 20th, 2016, at the Colchester East Hants Hospital in Truro, NS. He leaves to mourn, his daughter Shirley (Jim) Joyce; grandchildren: Tanya (Jeff) Smith, Travis (Chrissy) Abbott, Jamie Abbott, Sameus Murphy and Teale Murphy; great-grandchildren: Kurstynn, Chelsea, Kayden and Alexander; sister Shirley Snow. He was predeceased by his parents William and Flora Sheppard, his wife Maggie and his son Wayne. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home at 10 Clinic Drive in Deer Lake on Wednesday, August 24th, 2016 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, August 25th, 2016 at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in Deer Lake with Father Gabriel Selvanathan officiating, Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery in Corner Brook.
