85 Halifax, passed away peacefully April 2, 2008 in The Windsor Elms. Born in Belfast Northern Ireland, he was a son of the late Charles and Martha (McMullin) McCaughey. He was a past supervisor with the City of Halifax and well known in the Masonic Order. Surviving are a daughter Marta Robinson, Halifax; sons: David (Judy), Halifax, and Tom (Shirley), St. John's; brother Vincent, Northern Ireland; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Predeceased by wife Florence. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held in May. Details and a more comprehensive obit will be published.
