It is with great sadness that the family of Margaret Sheppard announce her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Sunday, September 4, 2016 at the age of 72 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 52 years Gerald Sheppard; children: Paula (Wilfred) Kendell, Terry (Laura) Sheppard, Dean (Tracy) Sheppard; grandchildren: Amy (Dale), Mitchell (April), Tanisha (Mark), Matthew (Summer), Hailey and Travis; great-grandchildren: Dakota, Nevaeh, Hunter and Spencer; sisters: Josie Williams, Ann (Max) Bridger; brother Art Elliott; brother-in-law Hillary (Nancy) Sheppard, Howard (Lorna) Sheppard, Cornelius (Jean) Sheppard; sisters-in-law Viola Park (Arch Dennis) and Mildred Childs. She was predeceased by parents Mark and Mary Jane Elliott; mother and father-in-law Silas and Selina Sheppard; brother Victor Elliott; brother-in-law Albert Sheppard and sister-in-law Irene Elliott; as well remembered by a large number of nieces and nephews, family and friends. At Margaret's request, cremation has taken place. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at 2 pm from where the Service of Remembrance will take place at 3 pm from the Country Haven Funeral Chapel with Reverend Canon Roberta Woodman officiating. Interment will take place at a later date. As expression of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
