Age 48 of Dartmouth passed away on September 1, 2016. He was the son of Charles and the late Mimi Walker. Rickey worked for Beaver Lumber for 15 years then changing careers working for HGS Canada for 12 years where he was promoted to team management through years of growth. He was well loved and respected and known as their “big teddy bear”. Rickey had a huge personality with a great sense of humour and known as Uncle Rickey. He is survived by brother, Garry; sisters, Bettina (Dave) Wog, Debbie and Rickey’s twin sister Sabina, nephew Brandon, niece, Elizabeth Randall (Scott Moir); great nephews, Terry Moir, Stephen Moir and the extended family from Prince Edward Island. Rickey loved his family and is loved very much by his family, friends and colleagues and will be missed dearly. Funeral service will be held 1p.m., Friday, September 9, followed by a reception both in Atlantic Funeral Homes, 771 Main Street, Dartmouth. Interment in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens.
