Edward Munroe Fraser, age 84, of Company Road, Abercrombie passed away Sept., 7, 2016 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in Abercrombie he was a son of the late Alexander Munroe and Stella (Wadden) Fraser.
Edward lived most of his life in Abercrombie with the exception of a few years in Toronto. He was a retired employee of Hawker Siddley Ltd.
He is survived by a son Allan, Toronto; 2 grandchildren; brothers Douglas, Abercrombie; Maxie, Truro; sisters Barbara Young, Green Hill, Frances Harb, Abercrombie, Lillas Sartoris, Abercrombie; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, the former Alice Margaret Turner, sister Diane Bezanson.
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Saturday Sept.,10 in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow. A private family graveside service will be held Sunday, at 3:30 pm in the Abercrombie Cemetery with Rev. Charles McPherson officiating. Donations in his memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
