Gwendolyn Louise Park passed away peacefully at Western Memorial Hospital on September 12th, 2016 with her partner and best friend, Keith George, by her side. Gwen was born in Corner Brook to parents Cecil and Elizabeth Park. Her family moved to Curling when she was young and continued to reside until her passing. A much loved partner, mother and grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Gwen was predeceased by parents Cecil and Elizabeth Park, brothers Frazer, Russell, Kevin, Bob, Chaney, Dean and Kerry, sisters Rosie, Molly, Fanny and Marie. Gwen was a mother who deeply loved her children and a women who took great pride and love in her family. Gwen will be forever missed by the love of her life, Keith George; daughter Tanya; sons Robert and Michael (Nancy) and her precious grandson Carter. Also, leaving to mourn her sisters Phyllis, Roxie (Jim) and brothers Ted (Barb) and Baden (Shelly). She will missed by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends. A celebration of Gwen's life will take place on Wednesday, September 14th at Fillatres Funeral Home, Curling Street between 7-9 pm for friends and extended family. Prayer service to follow, officiated by Reverend Ed King. There will be a graveside service on Friday, September 16th at Mount Patricia Cemetery at 11 am.
