Murray A. Siddall, age 74, of Southampton passed away Sunday, September 11, 2016 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan. Born in Springhill, he was a son of the late Frank A. and Elsie M. (Meldrum) Siddall. Murray operated Murray’s Meats travelling door to door throughout Cumberland and Colchester Counties for more than 50 years. He is survived by his wife, the former, Marilyn Gould; a daughter, Brenda Wood (Roy), Parrsboro; son, Brian, Amherst; sisters, Joyce Collins (George), Elaine Bennett (Willis), all of Southampton; Ruth LeBlanc, College Bridge, N.B.; brothers, Keith (Wendy), Calvin (Sharon), all of Southampton; 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Pamela in 2014. Visitation 2-4, 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday [September 13, 2016] at the Southampton Baptist Church, where funeral service will take place 2 pm on Wednesday [September 14, 2016], Rev. Philip Scott officiating. Burial in the Southampton Cemetery. Reception to follow at the Southampton Community Hall. Memorial donations may be made to the Southampton Baptist Church.
