Passed peacefully away on September 14, 2016, Mary Eliza (Roche) Howley age 83 years. Born November 13, 1932, St. John's, NL. Predeceased by husband Michael F. Howley (2012), parents Michael Roche and Jessie (Holwell) Roche, brother Gerald Roche and sisters Margaret Ford and Marie Kramer. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Mike (Donna Leahy), David (Doreen Dearing), John (friend Alison Thorne), Mary Anne (Paul Griffin) and Martina (Michael Green); beloved grandchildren: Michael and Alison Howley (fiancé Ryan Murphy), Stephen and Emily Griffin, Julia and Gregory Howley and Erin, Sean, Brigid and Declan Green; sisters: Marina Stamp (Bob) and Dianne Penney (Bill); brother Michael Roche (Odile); brother-in-law Tom Howley (Mary) as well as many loving nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Special thank you to the staff at Pleasantview Towers Long Term Care Home. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Thursday, September 15th from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and Friday, September 16th from 12-2 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Saturday, September 17th at 10 a.m. from Mary Queen of Peace Church, Torbay Road.
