It is with great sadness that the family of Mary Jean Williams announces her passing at her home in Gould's after a brief illness on Wednesday, September 14, 2016, at the age of 75 years. She was surrounded by her devoted family. Predeceased by her parents John and Ida Brennan, son Randolph (Randy) whom she missed dearly, and numerous members of the Brennan, Hann and Williams families. Mary will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her husband of 57 years, Ambrose and their children Charlene (Randy Ruby), Peter (Mary Lou), Marina (Chris Thistle), Gail (Carl Ridgeley), Robert (Tina), Paul (Michelle). Mary Jean has 17 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren "Nannies little treasures" that loved her dearly and will forever miss the love and devotion of this wonderful woman. Also left to mourn are her brother, Walter (Madonna); sisters Viola (Robert Candow) and Helen (Gerry Boland). Special mention to sister-in-law and friend Marie Brennan. Mary also had a special bond with her sisters-in-law and brothers- in-law Winnifred, Margaret, Betty, Doris, Kathleen, Paula, Andy, Aiden and their families. Mary had so many special people in her life: cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends, that where so much a part of her life. Each special to her in many different ways. She will be missed by all. Visitation and celebration of her life will be held at Barrett's Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Ave., Mount Pearl, on Thursday from 12-9 p.m., on Friday from 12-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Kevin's Church, Goulds at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 17, 2016.
