Passed peacefully away on Thursday, September 15th, 2016 at Agnes Pratt in the presence of her loving and devoted family, at the age of 98 years. Predeceased by her husband John (Jack); infant son Bill; son-in-law Jim Finn; brothers Maxwell (Kathleen) Charles, Ben; sisters Lizzie (Albert Boyles), and Carrie (Will Stanley). Florence will be sadly missed by sons Joseph (Lorraine), Frazer (Patricia), John (Cathy), Clinton (Marie); daughters Ruby Whelan and Ivy Finn; sister Ruby Howell (Ern, deceased) and sister-in-law Ivy Rowe. Also leaving to mourn her beautiful grandchildren Cindy, Yvonne, Mick, Rodney, Glenn, Joanne, Joey, Greg, Donna. Lois, John, Jerome, Susan, Darren, Tracy, Lisa, Jamie, Jennifer, Brian, Crista and Amanda, as well as her great-grandchildren whom she cherished. We, the family, would also like the send our heartfelt thanks to the nurses and staff of Agnes Pratt Home for all their understanding and patience with our mom. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Sunday, September 18th, 2016 from 2- 9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Monday, September 19th, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. from St. Paul's Anglican Church, Goulds.
