Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family and friends. Predeceased by her husband John Burt; parents Ernest and Jane Trickett; brother Warrick Trickett and sisters Wesley Soper and Doris (Dot) Diamond. Leaving with loving memories are her son David (Ruby); daughter Donna (Bill Puddester); grandchildren Terry (Kim) Burt, Natasha (Boris) Matisziw, Pascoe (Melissa) Puddester; 5 great-grandchildren Maggie, Katie, Nikolai, Luka, Colby, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and a large circle of family and friends. Sincere thank you to Erica Smith, her homecare worker of 5 years and her special friends Lorne Butler, Eva Musseau, Kathy Hewitt, Doreen Whelan and Margie Mulcahy. Also many thanks to Dr. Essaji and the staff of the HSC 4 South A. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road with Visitation on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 10am - noon, 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held at 11am on Thursday, September 22 at Carnell's Memorial Chapel. Interment to follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
