Passed away in the presence of her loving family on Saturday, September 24, 2016, Ellen Maloney in her 73rd year of Holyrood. Predeceased by her husband John, parents Andrew and Dorothy Sheppard, brother Arch and brothers-in-law: Matt and Jim Maloney and John Hollinda. Left with fond and loving memories are her children: Terry, Derek, Debbie (Glenn) Parsons, Darlene (Dion) Gorman, nanny's pride and joy, Darion, her sister Tryphena Fiander (Ches), and brother Russ (Theresa), sister-in-laws: Mary Fleming, Betty Hollinda, Angela McDonald, Bridget Thompson (Terrence), Carmel Crawley (John), Madeline, and Yvonne, brother-in-law Jerry (Loretta), her little buddies: Domi and Finnigan, many nieces, nephews and a large circle of extended family and friends especially the Staff of Pleasant View Towers. Resting at Dunphy's Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation on Sunday and Monday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral will take place at 10:30 am on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 with Mass of Christian Burial from Holy Cross Church, Holyrood. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Because of Ellen's long battle with Parkinson's, donations in her memory may be made to the Parkinson Society.
