Passed suddenly but peacefully away on Tuesday, September 27, 2016. Donald Jarvis, aged 61 years was predeceased by his mother, Pricilla. Donald leaves to mourn, his wife, the love of his life, Patricia (nee Harding); his sons, Donnie (Shannon), Christopher (Pam) and Chad (Nickie); very dear to his heart, his stepson, Corey; 14 special grandchildren whom he loved dearly and his dad, William Jarvis. Donald also leaves 7 sisters, Florence (Mike), Clara (Ed), Carmel (Austin), Fatima (Pierre), Petrinia (Buzz), Doreen (Brian) and Ursula; 2 brothers, Phil (June) and John (Christine); 3 sisters-in-law Bride (Bill), Barb (Kevin) and Agnes; 4 brothers-in-law, William (Rose), Dick (Bonnie), Fred (Carolann) and Chris (Elizabeth). Also mourning his loss are his special friends, Woody Mercer, Charlie Lewis, Gord Ryan and Martin Brazil along with many friends and co-workers at St. John's Regional Fire Department and his many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Food Bank or the Gathering Place. Resting at Caul's Funeral home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Thursday from 5-9 pm and Friday from 12-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 9:30 am on Saturday, October 1, 2016 from the Basilica on Military Road.
