In Toronto, on August 29, 2016, the death occurred of Eric Halley Matheson. Born in Glace Bay, N.S. he was a son of the late Norman and Laura (nee McMullin) Matheson. Beloved husband of 61 years to Mary (nee Craig). He is survived by his brothers Allister (Gerry) Matheson and Donald Matheson; sister Jennie (James) Allan; brothers-in-law Bob Craig and Bill Graham; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 12 p.m. in The People’s Cemetery.
