Passed peacefully away at The Salvation Army Glenbrook Lodge on Tuesday, October 4, 2016, Myra Beatrice Cooper (nee Ludlow) in her 96th year. Predeceased by her husband Lloyd (January, 2006); daughter Verna Hounsell (October, 2008); and son-in-law Frank Noble (January, 2008). Leaving to mourn, daughters: Marjorie Noble (Corner Brook) and Joy (Bill) Barron (St. John's); son Keith (Ruth) (Ontario); son-in-law Sol Hounsell (Pound Cove); 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law: Dorothy Cooper and Kay Cooper; as well as extended family and friends - including her many friends at Glenbrook. Myra was the last member of the original Pentecostal Tabernacle Corner Brook West. Special thank you to Dr. Vaughn Jackson and the great staff and management at Glenbrook Lodge who lovingly cared for Mom over the past six years. We really appreciate all you have done. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Friday, October 7, from 12-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will take place from Barrett's Funeral Chapel on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 1 pm, with interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Blackmarsh Road.
