Passed peacefully away (in the presence of his family) at Pleasant View Towers on Wednesday, October 5, 2016, at age 81 years. Predeceased by his first wife Fanny; parents Arthur and Josephine; brother: Cecil and sister: Jean Tapper. Leaving to mourn his loving and caring wife of 32 years Jessie (nee Budgell). Arthur's children: Arthur Jr. (Marilyn), Wayne (Pat) and Barry (Tina). Jessie's children: Robert Jr. (Debbie) North, Wayne (Linda) North and Rodney (Roxanne) North; sisters: Margaret Tucker and Betty (Ross) Barnes; brother-in-law: Willis Tapper; 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; and a large circle of family and friends. At Arthurs' request cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Barrett's Funeral Home 73 Commonwealth Ave. Mount Pearl, on Friday, October 7th, from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 8th from Barrett's Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Inurnment to follow at Topsail Anglican Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers greatly accepted or donation's can be made in Arthurs' memory to the Alzheimer's Society of Newfoundland and Labrador.
