Henry de Montreuil passed away surrounded by the love and warmth of his family in Sechelt Hospital at the age of 91.
Henry was born November 9, 1924 in Kelowna, B.C. to Anna and Henry B. de Montreuil. He married Frances on July 13, 1949. A family of five followed: Dan, Larry, Marie, Camille and David. Henry married Andree on April 23, 1993 and they moved to Langdale on the Sunshine Coast to live out their lives together. Henry was a father, orchardist, shop teacher, land developer, and a strong member of his church, who built a couple of homes for his family.
Henry is survived by his brother John, 93, four children, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on October 8, 2016 at 11:00am at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Gibsons, B.C.
