Passed peacefully away April 5, age 88 years. Predeceased by her husband Edgar Laurie Hickman in 1996. Leaving to mourn sons Albert (Karen), Howard (Regina), daughter Karen Cole, step-daughter Barbara (Lawrence) Tremellen in Montreal, sister Gladys Keyes, U.S.A., grandchildren Kim Thompson, Bert (Sue), Jonathan (Alison), Jason (Fiona), Matthew (Jill) Hickman, Christian, Hilary, Megan and Rob Cole, sister-in-law Joan Herder and son-in-law Bob Cole, along with friends and special care-givers at Elizabeth Towers. Visitation at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Rd., Sunday and Monday 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place Tuesday, April 8, 11 a.m., at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Topsail.
