Annette Payne, passed peacefully away at the Victoria General Hospital in Halifax with her loving husband by her side on Sunday, October 9, 2016 at the age of 58 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 39 years, Reginald; children: Jamie (Kimberly), Debbie (Craig), Ashley (Trevor); her pride and joy, her beloved grandchildren: Abigale, Carson, Carter, Cameron, Bailey, Daymon, Gina, Hunter, Brooke, MaKayla, Desirae, Rihanna, Claire, and Ashton; siblings: Sheila (Calvin), Frank, Jim, and Michelle; brothers and sisters-in-law: Goldie, Vivian (Mike), Roy (Molly), Gary (Veronica), Ronnie (Aggie), Pansy (Ellis), and Elaine (Charles); as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends, especially her co-workers at NL Power. She was predeceased by her mother and father Margaret and James Jones; brother Don Jones and mother and father-in-law Reginald and Jessie Payne. Friends may visit St. Nicholas' Anglican Church in Cox's Cove on Friday and Saturday between the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. from where the funeral service will take place on Sunday, October 16, 2016 at 2 p.m., with Reverend Charlene Laing and Reverend Malcolm Palmer officiating. Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to NL Power, Power of Life Fund or the Canadian Cancer Society.
