Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital. Lorenzo Goodyear aged 88 years. Predeceased by his wife: Ida (nee Humphries); daughter: Marilyn; parents: Walter and Bertha and brother: Raymond. Leaving to mourn his son: Lorne (Mary); daughter: Josephine Puddester (Eric); grandchildren: Walter Goodyear (Martha Flynn), Lori-Ann Gosselin (Alex), Krista Thistle (Jeff) and Kimberly Puddester; great-grandchildren: Kaitlyn Goodyear, Logan Thistle and Erica Thistle; sister: Maisie Wright, as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Monday, October 17th from 7:00 pm. - 9:00 pm. and on Tuesday, October 18th from 2:00 pm. - 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm. - 9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held in Barrett's Chapel on Wednesday, October 19th at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
