Bland, Joan Carole, 77, of Windsor, Hants County, passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2016 in the Windsor Elms Village, Falmouth. Born on March 22, 1939 in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late George and Ruth Harvey-Mahoney. Joan was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her family was her world. Surviving are her husband of sixty-one years, Edward; sons, Rob (Kim), New Glasgow; Scott (Kim), Edmonton; Allan (Debbie), Windsor; daughter, Janet (Joseph) Smith, Bedford; 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; sister, Wendy Harvey, Alberta; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by, sisters, Bonnie Saunders and Betty Binnington. A gathering for family and friends was held from 2-4 pm on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at the family home 420 Windsor Back Road, Martock.
