Passed away peacefully after a short battle with cancer on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital surrounded by his loving family, age 75 years. Predeceased by his parents Robert and Edith Hand; the mother of his children Kathleen; son Jack and sister Carol. Leaving to mourn with many loving memories his partner Olive; children Bob (Wanda), Tina (Tony Serna) and Lisa (Wayne Hendry); daughter-in-law Tina; grandchildren Justin, Steve, Julian, Tone, Emily, Laura, Michael, Amy and Jessica; siblings Elaine, Janice, Marjorie, Bob, Mary, Dorothy, Pearce, Ed, Paul, Donna, Ken, Tony, Cathy and Noel. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including friends of Bill W from the past 33 years. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Saturday and Sunday from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Monday, October 31, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. from Caul's Chapel, with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dr. Jack Hand Legacy Foundation.
