RN graduate of the Grace General Hospital in 1961, passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Friday, October 28, 2016, after a short battle with cancer, in the presence of her loving family, at age 76. Predeceased by her husband Clayton (1992); parents Henry & Eva Burridge; sister Ellen and brother-in-law Rev. Stephen Adkins; and granddaughter Brandy. Left with fond and loving memories her sons: David (Michelle), Fred (Lisa), and Raymond (Keri-Lynn); daughters: Susan (Phil) Lind, and Tracey (Karl) Hoskins; grandchildren: Ryan, Lorissa, Emily, Jessany, Claire, Amy, Kyler, Sarah, Daisy, Shelby, Cassie, and Parker; sisters: Shirley Burridge, and Ruby (Austin) Mercer; her #1 furry companion Ellie; special aunt: Aunt Mary; also a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation to be held at Barrett's Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl, on Sunday, October 30th, from 1:00pm-5:00pm and 7:00pm-9:00pm. Funeral service to be held from Barrett's Chapel on Monday, October 31st, at 10:00am. Interment to follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
