Passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, October 27th at the age of 79. Bernadette (nee Kelly) beloved wife of the late Sydney Sedgwick. Cherished mother of Lisa Megarry (Kevin) and Chris (Ipo). Much loved grandmother of Ryan, Matthew, Tanya and Deanna. Dearest sister of Marie Rybicki, Joan Kelly, Jerry Kelly, Verna Kelly (friend Con), Norma Costello (Jim), Claire Munn (Daryll), Eric Kelly (Sheila), Ralph Kelly (Jane), Maggie Casford (George), Leonard Kelly (Shirley). Dear sister-in-law of Astrid Martin (Bob) and Susan Pratt (Dave). Will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews and many friends from St. Gabriel's and St. Bernard's Residence. Friends may call on Wednesday, November 2nd from 6 to 8 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street at Goulding, south of Steeles). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, November 3rd at 10:30 a.m. at St. Gabriel's Roman Catholic Church (670 Sheppard Avenue East). Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
