Born September 6, 1934, Son of the late James A Murphy and Helen Murphy (nee Fraser), of China Point, PEI. Husband of the late Joan Murphy (nee Nelson), loving father of son Ron E. Murphy, Toronto, Ontario and daughter Kathy Lee Cusack, London, England. Survived by sisters Marie Morrissey (James) Earnscliffe, PEI, Evelyn Evans (Dwight) Keg River, Alberta, Phyllis Leddy (Michael) Belville, Ontario. Brothers Charles F Murphy (Wilhelmina) China Point, PEI, Dr. Leo Murphy (Dr. Jane Thurley) Toronto, Ontario. Predeceased by sisters Margaret Murphy, China Point, PEI, Helena Murphy, China Point, PEI, Ruth MacPhee (Benny and Sylvia) St. Georges, PEI, Irene McInnis (Ron) Earnscliffe, PEI, Pauline MacDonald (Wilbur and Marie) Orwell, PEI.
