The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Wednesday, November 2, 2016, of Doris Gallant, of Summerside, aged 86 years. Born in Summerside, she was the daughter of the late John and Evelyn (Chaisson) Watson. Survived by her husband Joe “Coke” Gallant; children Donna Doyle, Ford (Denise Boucher), Peter (Christine) and Patti (Ron); 9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and by sisters June Winstone and Shirley (Mike) Lipnicky. Predeceased by her daughter Barbara Ann Gallant; brothers Hillard, Bobby, Sonny and sisters Lorraine and Trisha. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Tuesday, then to St. Paul’s Church, Summerside, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Summerside.
