The passing of Doreen Anne (Nee: Daley) Batchilder, age 68 of Georgetown, occurred at the Kings County Memorial Hospital while surrounded by her loving and supportive family on Saturday, November 5, 2016. Born on August 6, 1948 on St. Mary’s Road, she was the daughter of the late James and Winnifred (Nee: McGee) Daley. Beside her husband and love of her life Kenny whom she married on April 4, 1970 she leaves with fond and loving memories children Darryl (Lesley), Rachel, siblings Isabel Daley, Madeline (Wally) Walsh, John (Anna Mae), Vincent (Barb), Jimmy (Catherine), Gerard (Linda), Paul, sisters in law Lorraine (Gerry) Steele, Sandra & Susan Daley, brothers in law Danny Deveaux, Clarence Deveaux along with a circle of extended family and those who had the opportunity to call her friend. Besides her parents Doreen was predeceased by siblings Arnold, Leonard, Adrian, Theresa, Agnes and Mary Lauretta and sisters in law Heather, Diane and Anne. Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with visiting on Tuesday, November 8 from 4 to 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, November 9 at 11 am from St. James Roman Catholic Church, Georgetown with interment to follow in the parish cemetery at a later date.
