Rose Doreen (Dougherty) Main passed away on November 6, 2016 peacefully at L.H.S.C. Born on December 14, 1942 in the Valley, P.E.I. to her late parents, Bernard and Margaret (McTague) Dougherty. She is pre-deceased by her husband John Wilfred Main, brother Michael and infant sister Bernice. Loving mother to Monica (Sean) Maharaj, Melody (Fil) Vaz and Amanda (Dave) Mazza. Beloved by grandchildren Austin Pagnotta, Ava and Emily Vaz, Aidan and Siobhan Maharaj and Isabella Mazza. Survived by her sister Mary (John) MacPhee, as well as nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place at Needham Funeral Service (520 Dundas St.) on Thursday November 10 from 2 p.m.- 4 p.m. and 7p.m. - 9 p.m. Prayers will be at 3:45 p.m. at Needham Funeral Service with family sharing their memories of Rose at 7 p.m. Funeral service will take at St. Justin’s Parish (855 Jalna Blvd.) on Friday at 1pm with a graveside service to follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
