It is with great sadness that the family of the late MURDOCK PARDY of Bay L’Argent announces his passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin, on Saturday, November 5th, 2016, at the age of 98. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are sons Eric (Olga) of Ontario, and Murdock Jr. (Karen) of Bay L’Argent; daughter Bernice (Albert) Courtemanche of Nova Scotia; daughter-in-law Yvonne Pardy of Alberta; sisters, Mary (Cecil) Hiscock of Ontario, and Sadie (David) Stevens of Ontario; brothers, Albert (Emma) Pardy of Hearts Delight, and Andrew Pardy of Ontario; 8 grandchildren, Derek (Kelly), Charles (Julie), Christine (Clint), Dwayne (Susan), Wendy (Joel), Amanda (Roger), Kevin (Wendy) & Kalee; 8 great-grandchildren: Olivia, Joshua, Ashtyn, Ocean, Hunter, Jordan, Connor & Brooklynn; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Florence; son John; parents, Thomas & Sarah Pardy; brothers, Eli & Leslie Pardy; and sisters, Melita Francis, and Margaret Barnes.

The Funeral Service took place at St. Hilda’s Anglican Church in Bay L’Argent on Wednesday, November 9th, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. Interment followed at St. Hilda’s Anglican Cemetery in Bay L’Argent.

In Murdock’s memory donations may be made to A Charity of One’s Choice or flowers gratefully accepted.
