It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Atkinson announce her passing on Tuesday, November 8th, 2016 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 81 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her daughters Jane Fitzgerald, Corner Brook and Eileen (Doug) LeDrew, Edmonton, AB, two grandchildren Brandon (Brittany) LeDrew, Fort McMurry, AB and Alicia LeDrew (Ryan), Edmonton, AB, two great-grandchildren Sophia and Jaymz Maynard LeDrew, Fort McMurray, AB, sisters Josephine Elford and Eileen Williams, Corner Brook, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was predeceased by her husband James Atkinson, infant son William Fitzgerald, sisters Eileen Beales, Celestine Pramberg and Hazel Sullivan, brothers Ronald and Michael Beales, parents John and Jane Beales. Visitation will take place from Fillatre's Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 12th at 10:30 AM from Sacred Heart Parish with Father Ed Terry officiating. The interment will follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
