Passed peacefully away on Tuesday, November 8, 2016, Jean Whitten, loving wife of the late David Whitten, age 84 years. Predeceased by her parents Samuel and Mary Stowe; her loving husband David and her precious son Glenn (1972). Leaving to mourn her two sons: Paul (Daphne) and Gary (Carol); her three loving grandchildren: Sheri (Joe), David (Jennifer) and Paul (Megan), and their mother Margaret; her much loved great-grandchildren: Jessica and Brady, Leah and Christopher, and Alyssa, Brianna, Myah, Neveah and Maddisyn; her special friends Darlene and Lexie Worthman, Shirley Smallwood, Mary Ann and Paul Doucet, and Linda and Sean Ryan; her special neighbour Mary Pynn and her family as well as other relatives and friends. Paul and Gary would like to thank Dr. Gary Tarrant and his nurse Maureen for the many years of care and compassion. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Thursday, November 10, and Friday, November 11, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will take place from Wesley United Church on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 10 am, with interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
