Douglas Bliss Bickerton age 73 of Amherst passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 in the comfort of his home.
Born in Amherst he was a son of the late Lester and Alida (Gaudet) Bickerton.
Douglas will be lovingly remembered by his companion, Barb McManaman and her family; sons, Darren (Sherry), Peter (Tammy) and Kiley (Jennifer), their mother, Barb McLeod, all of Amherst; brothers, Gary (Linda), Amherst and Rick (Viki), Australia; as well as many grandchildren; great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Cremation has taken place.
Sharing of memories will take place on Saturday, November 19, 2016 between the hours of 1-4 p.m. from Campbell’s Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst (902) 667-9906.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cumberland Hospice Palliative Care Society or the L.A. Animal Shelter.
