The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday, November 10, 2016 of Irene May Gallant (Gaudet), Parkdale, in her 100th year. Irene was surrounded by her children, sister and her large loving family on her journey to meet her Lord. Dear mother of Carol Gaudet (Joseph), Catherine “Cathy” Gould, Julia “Judy” McAllister (Jim) and Joseph “Joey” Gallant (Carol Anne). Lovingly remembered by her 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Irene who was one of 11 children is survived by one sister Marguerite “Rete” Gaudet. Sister-in-law of Mary Gaudet and Rita Gaudet. Predeceased by her husband Joseph Gallant and by her parents Joseph and Julia (Gallant) Gaudet. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home until Monday at 10:45 a.m., then to St. Pius X Church for funeral mass at 11 a.m. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
