Passed away at Kenny's Pond Retirement Community on November 11, Mollie Marguerite Dawe aged 94. Marguerite was the daughter of the late Samuel Anthony Dawe and Louisa Clark (Smith) Dawe of Cupids. She was predeceased by her brother Donald W.K. Dawe, Q.C., her sister Gwendolyn Leamon and her nephew Kevin Leamon. Leaving to morn her two devoted nieces Louise Dawe and Eleanor Bonnell (Aubrey), and her nephew David Leamon (Donna). She was proud of her two great-nephews Steven Bonnell (Denise Mullett) and Scott Bonnell (Kaena Clark), and enjoyed being great-great-Aunt Marguerite to their children Evan, York, Isaak and Nanea. Also left to morn are her two special cousins Phyllis Dixon and Ada Janes (Jack) of Clarenville, her "best buddy" and loving caregiver Elsie Jarvis, other relatives and friends including those at Good Companions at St. David's Church. Louise, Eleanor and Elsie would like to thank the staff of Kenny's Pond Retirement Community for their care over the three and a half years Marguerite resided there, and especially the staff of the Second Floor who were so kind and helpful through her last difficult weeks. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service for Marguerite will be held at Barrett's Funeral Home Chapel, Hamilton Avenue, on FRIDAY, DECEMBER 2ND at 2 pm, preceded by visitation from 12:30-1:45 pm.
