(nee Simmonds) Passed peacefully away on April 5th, 2008, Jean Deborah French, aged 94 years. Predeceased by her husband Harold in 1994 (retired RNC Sergeant), as well as her infant daughter Shirley Gloria, six brothers and four sisters. Leaving to mourn her daughter Joan Bartlett (John), grandchildren Carol Clarke (Jim), Jackie Parsons (Gary), Dave Bartlett (Carol), great-grandchildren Curtis Parsons, Alexander Bartlett, Jacqueline Clarke, Owen Bartlett, sister-in-law Madge Simmonds as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Monday from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 a.m. - 12 noon. Funeral service will take place from St. Mary the Virgin Church, Craigmillar Avenue at 2 p.m. with interment to take place at the Anglican Cemetery on Kenmount Road.
