
Raymond Arsenault
We regret to announce the passing of a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend. Born in Glace Bay he was the son of late Michael and Dorothy (Reynolds) Arsenault. Raymond (83) was employed with Shores Warehouse and Hostess Frito Lay until his retirement. Raymond enjoyed over 30 years of camping with the love of his life Mary at Mira Water Park. Raymond will be missed by all who knew him. His favorite pastime was sitting in his lazy boy chair, watching TV and sharing his treats with his four-legged pal Missy who will miss ‘Da’ very much. Raymond is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Mary; son, Greg (Edith) of Truro and daughter, Peggy (Boo) Hill of Glace Bay; seven grandchildren; his ‘Girl’ Angie, Tony, Jennifer, Danny, Ashley, Megan and Sydni and eight great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son, Raymond Jr; Sisters, Mary and Elsie; brothers, Joey, Michael, Allan, Greg and Billy. There will be a memorial service Tuesday, November 15 at 2 p.m. in the T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists (Memorial Chapel) 370 Reserve St Glace Bay, 902-849-4199, with Fr. Leo Boone officiating. Burial will take place in St Ann’s Cemetery.
