Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Sunday, November 13, 2016, David Wayne Barbour aged 61 years. Predeceased by infant sons: David Wayne and Chesley Benjamin; parents: Samuel and Viola Barbour; mother/father-in-law: Bernard and Eileen Whiffen; sisters-in-law: Alice Norman (James) and Mary Whiffen. Leaving with cherished memories his loving wife: Jean; sons: David Jr. and Robert. Also, brothers: Harold (Ruth), Cyril (Mona) and sisters: Gerri Starkes (Robert) and Elizabeth; sisters-in-law: Theresa Lye (Greg), Eileen Walsh (Kevin), and Millie Hodder (Chris) and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association-NL Division. Cremation has taken place. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 from 10am-9pm. A celebration of David's life will be held at Barrett's Chapel on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at a later date.
