Passed peacefully away at Glenbrook Lodge, Nov 14, 2016, in the presence of his family at the age of 83. Leaving to mourn wife Betty (nee Bown) daughter Susan Sheppard (George), son, Ian Winsor (Dian); grandchildren Noah and Hannah; brothers, Don (Kay), Leonard (Donna), sister Diane. Special thanks to the staff of Glenbrook Lodge for their care and support over the past 18 months. Cremation has taken place and relatives and friends can visit the family at Barrett's Funeral Home, Hamilton Ave. on Thursday Nov 17th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will take place at St. James United Church, 330 Elizabeth Ave., St. John's at 11 am on Friday Nov 18th, reception to follow at St. James. No flowers by request.
