Stellarton - Charlotte Jessie Morash, age 83, of the Valley View Villa, formerly of Stellarton, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2016 in the Villa.
Born in Westville, she was a daughter of the late Neil and Georgina (Lockhart) Boehk.
She was retired from the Evening News and the Advocate. She was a member of Sharon Saint John United Church where she was active in various groups.
Charlotte was an avid square dancer, card player and enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by a daughter, Nancy Lemaire, Edmonton; grandchildren: Brittany Lemaire; Talon (Melissa) Lemaire; Derek Lemaire; 4 great grandchildren; nieces: Pamela (Jack) Canning; Karen (Earl) Carson; sisters-in-law: Mildred Boehk; Dorothy Clark; Norma Morash; Miriam (Fergie) MacKay; brothers-in-law: Kenneth Morash; Robin (Marion) Morash.
She was predeceased by her husband, C. Garfield Morash; brothers: Theodore and Ronald; sister, Vera.
Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 pm Thursday, in the R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Funeral service 11 am Friday in Sharon Saint John United Church, Stellarton, with Rev. Carolyn Nicholson officiating. Reception to follow. Burial will be in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens.
