Passed peacefully away at St. Pat's Mercy Home on Wednesday, November 16, 2016, in the presence of her loving family, at age 95. Predeceased by her husband H. Cyril Parsons; and son Charles. Left with fond and loving memories her daughter Phyllis (Bob) Newhook; sons: Don (Daphne) and David (Sandra); 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; also a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Special thanks to the staff of Meadow Creek Retirement Home and St. Pat's Mercy Home for their tender care and affection. Visitation to take place at Barrett's Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl, on Thursday, November 17th, from 1:00pm - 4:00pm and 7:00pm - 9:00pm; and on Friday, November 18th, from 10:00am - 11:30am. Funeral service to be held from Holy Innocents Parish in Paradise at 1:00pm. Interment to follow at Holy Innocents Cemetery.
