Especially his niece Dawn who was with him from day one of his diagnosis. To those who knew and loved him, Edmund was a kind and generous man who worked hard, and always made sure his children came first. He always found the time to travel to all of their sporting events throughout their lives. A special thank you to his friends who helped him in his time of need, and who took the time to visit him. Edmund will be remembered as a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, an exceptional coach, avid Toronto Maple Leafs fan, and loyal friend. Our Hero

"You held my hand when I was small, you caught me when I fell, you're the hero of my childhood and my later years as well. And every time I think of you, my heart still fills with pride, though I'll always miss you Dad, I know you're by my side. In laughter and in sorrow, in sunshine and through rain, I know you're watching over me, until we meet again."
