WHITE, David James – age 52 of Victoria Vale, NS passed away peacefully at home, in the arms of his beloved partner Michelle, on Monday, November 21, 2016. Born in Middleton, he was the son of Bernice Marilyn (Taylor) MacLean and the late Edwin Leslie Maynard White and step-father Kenneth MacLean. David lived twenty-two years in beautiful British Columbia, employed as a machinist, returning to his Nova Scotia home in 2011. He loved to hunt, fish and took great pride in his yard. He also enjoyed searching for unique antiques at auctions and yard sales. He loved spending time with his friends and going on adventures in his truck with his buddy Gus, by his side. David will be sadly missed by his common law partner Michelle DeMone; mother Bernice (Ken) MacLean of Margaretsville; daughter Larissa Dean White of Coquitlam, BC; sister Dawn White of Halifax; step-sisters Lisa (Harvey) Richards of Middleton and Michelle (David) Buklarewicz of Lynnfield, Mass. and his aunt Norma Stoddart of Harmony. In keeping with David’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of David’s life was held 2-4 Saturday, November 26th in the Margaretsville & District Fire Hall, 2768 Seaman St. Interment will be held at a later date. Donations in David’s memory may be made to Carey Me Fund, Annapolis Valley Palliative Care or Margaretsville & District Volunteer Fire Department.
