With sadness, the family of Geraldine (Anne) Collins announce her peaceful passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on November 28, 2016. She is predeceased by her husband Eugene (2003) and her granddaughter Grace Anne (2005). Leaving to mourn with fond and precious memories are her five children: Gary (Wendy), Cambridge, Ontario, Paul (Penny), Ottawa, Ontario, Joanne, St John's, Ken, St John's, Rob (Shelley), Corner Brook; thirteen grandchildren: Stephanie, Nicole, Kristen (Luc Lebreche), Kaitlin, Ryan, Michael, Stephanie Dicks, Kennedy, Max, Sara, Nicholas, Alexander, Sacha and Sophia; and two great-grandchildren Noah and Abby; her brother Eugene Gregory, Placentia, and a large number of extended family and friends. Special thanks to Dr. O'Driscoll, and the staff of the 3rd Floor and Palliative Care Unit for their care and compassion. Also, special thanks to Tammy Allen for being a wonderful support to Aunt Anne. Resting at Fillatre's Funeral Home on St Mark's Avenue in Corner Brook, visitation to take place on Wednesday, November 30, from 7-9 pm and Thursday, December 1 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial to take place at the Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer on Friday, December 2, 2016 at 10:30 am with Father Edward Terry officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations can be made to the charity of one's choice.
