The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth II Health Sciences Centre, Halifax, on Tuesday, December 6, 2016, of Elaine Sharp, RN, of Summerside, aged 83 years. Born in Kensington, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Jennie (Simpson) Humphrey. Survived by her brother Andrew (Beatrice) Humphrey; a sister Marion (Walter) Riehl; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Neil “Pop” Sharp and a sister Norma Reid. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Monday, then to the Summerside Presbyterian Church for funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment later in People’s Cemetery, Kensington.
