It is with great sadness that the family of the late Elsie Legge announce her passing on Monday, December 12, 2016 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 90 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Thomas (Jacqueline) of Corner Brook, Giselle (Brent) Guinchard of Meadows, Darren (Stephanie) of Gilliams, and Trevor (Sandra) of Meadows: grandchildren: Tara (Colin), Michelle (Justin), and Colby; great-grandchildren: Isaac and Spencer; her furry friends: Shiloh, Bella, and Remi; sister: Marjorie (Doug) Coakwell of British Columbia; sisters-in-law: Bessie (Roland) Wells of Cox's Cove, Vera of Harbour Breton, and Loretta of Meadows; and a very special family friend Wanda Hawkins and a large circle of nieces nephews other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Isaac in 1988; parents: Bryant and Caroline Brake; brothers: Milton, Eric, Bryant, and Devine; sisters: Ada Parsons and Cedella Legge; sister's-in-law: Leona, Cora (Sidney) Hunt and Joan; and her furry friend Honey. Visitation will take on Tuesday, December 13 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM from Holy Trinity Anglican Church Meadows from where Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 14 at 2:00 PM with Reverend Malcolm Palmer officiating. Interment to follow at Anglican Cemetery Meadows. As expression of sympathy donations, may be made to Palliative Care or 5th floor at Western Memorial Regional Hospital.
