COLEMAN, David Franklin – age 69, former long-time resident of Viewmount, Kings Co., passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2016, in the arms of his wife and granddaughter at his home in Millville. Born on February 8, 1947, in Berwick, he was a son of the late C. Robert “Bob” and Eleanor P. (Sweeney) Coleman. He was the eldest of the four siblings, Allen, Dwight and Marlene Coleman. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, the former Gloria Selig (April 2000) and his second wife, the former Geraldine Best-DeEll (August of 2012). David is survived by his beautiful wife, the former Rena Hiltz-Roach; daughter, Lori (Robert McMurrer) Coleman; granddaughter, Nichole (Troy Higgins) Coleman; grandson, Matthew (Kasey Kenneally) Mahar; great-granddaughter, Hope Mahar; great-grandson, Tyler Mahar; step son, Paul (Cheryl) Roach; stepchildren from his second wife, Alan (Nicole), Carolyn, Dana, Brian and Scott (Lindsey) DeEll; many grandchildren from his three marriages; many nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Stephen and Angela Pinner were like family to David. He was a loving father to all and was called “PaPa” to most that knew and loved him. David was a respected loyal man of honour. He drove a tractor trailer for over 38 years, his last employer being H.B. Morse & Sons of Somerset. There was no visitation at the family’s request. Memorial Service took place at 2 p.m., Saturday, December 17, in Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., toll free 1-855-825-3448. Rev. Patty Beals officiated, and a reception followed.
