The death occurred, at her late residence, on Friday, December 16, 2016, of Bernice DesRoches, of Summerside, aged 84 years. Born in Dorchester, NB, she was the daughter of the late Percy and Isabel (Mitton) Mitton. Survived by her children Brian (Wendy), Mike and Lynn (Martin) Cousins; grandchildren Kristyn (Reed) Kelsey, Jason DesRoches and Riley Cousins; brothers Lawrence (Phyllis) Mitton, Alex (Shirlee) Mitton, Harold (Kathy) Mitton; a sister Annie (Jim) Riley; and by a sister-in-law June Mitton. Predeceased by her husband Dolor DesRoches and by a brother Kenneth Mitton. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. Interment in St. John the Baptist Church Cemetery, Miscouche.
