Neale, Yvonne Vivien Priscilla (64)- Burlington, Ontario. Our beloved Yvonne passed away suddenly on Wednesday, December 14, 2016. Born on August 26, 1952, she was a daughter of the late David and Lynden (Newell) Thomas of Shelburne, Nova Scotia. Yvonne loved travelling around the world with her husband, but especially enjoyed going home to Nova Scotia to spend time with family and walking on the beach. She loved watching cat videos and enjoyed Friday pizza days with Georgie and her co-workers from Thatcher and Wands Law Office. Yvonne is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Brian; siblings, Lawrence Thomas, Halifax; Elaine (Stillman) Smith, Jordan falls; Wayne (Nancy) Thomas, Shelburne; brothers –in-law, Fred Greenwood, Shelburne; Danny (Diane) Neale, Ottawa; sister-in-law, Diana (Robert) Hicks, Edmonton; numerous nieces and nephews. Yvonne was predeceased by her sister, Jane (Fred) Greenwood, Shelburne. Visitation was on Monday, December 19 from 7-9 p.m. in H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Shelburne, with the funeral service held on Tuesday, December 20 at 2 p.m. in Trinity United Church, Shelburne, with Rev. Joanne McFadden officiating. Reception followed at the Church Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
